Tourism authorities of Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires, hopeto conclude in July with a visit to more de900.000 tourists with an estimated over 400 million dollars.
The estimate can be achieved if conditions are maintainedstandards of flights and caused major problems occur not withthe issue of volcanic ash that has been suffering from the country.
The chairman of the Tourism Entity of the City and Minister of Culture of Buenos Aires, Hernán Lombardi, said that the hotel capacity in the City of Buenos Aires over 90% in places 3 to 5estrellasdurante last weekend, adding that since half of Julyuntil the 31st of the month, average occupancy 76%.
Factors for this increase is the strong influence that took the Copa America in July. The main markets were the countries participating in the Cup and coincide precisely with the major regional markets for the City (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, among others).
