The dense trees serve as hiding for the cougar, the singular pudu (miniature deer) and a prolific bird life, including the duck of Chilean torrent. The nature trails, views of lakes, winter sports facilities, spas, waterfalls and some of the most unusual plants in the country, including nalca, with parasol-shaped leaves, and ulmo, with multiple trunks, are among the many curiosities that attract visitors.
