In its territory is possible to visit the Chungara Lake, whose location is considered as one of the highest lakes in the world. It is located at the foot of the dormant volcanoes Pallachata.
The Vicuña, condors and vizcachas live in this environment. It is also possible to find the Aymara shepherds that conduce flocks of alpacas and llamas. Also the park counts on with an extensive bird life along the shores of Lake Cotacotani. From the 5,300 m summit of Mount Guane Guane you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views.
