The city of Fortaleza, northeast Brazil, is home to a large park which combines fun beach and the city of Fortaleza, located northeast of Brazil, offers many attractions to domestic and international tourists, one of which is in the Playa Porto the Dunes, about 20 minutes from the city, there lies the biggest water park in South America.
Acqua Park operates within the Park and Beach resort consists of a maze of water rides, slides from the most varied heights to pools with artificial waves.

The resort receives more than 700,000 people a year, with records of up to 6,600 visitors per day, of all ages. Within this water park water slide is the world’s highest with 41 meters (previous record in the Guinness Book). Its height is equal to the vertical dimension of a 14 storey building.
Because of its height and tilt, water slide provides an extremely fast decrease (4 to 5 seconds). For a family fun park offers the largest wave pool in South America called “Tsunami”, which contains three million liters of water.

It is subdivided into two areas, one for the practice of body board and the other aimed at people who want to just float on the waves.
