The 2011-2012 season of Princess Cruises South America will feature the Star Princess. boat very familiar in this area as it was operating in past seasons. [ad#ad-468]
The itinerary offered is the familiar route Bioceánica, which is a trip that skirts the south of South America where it browses the two oceans (Atlantic and Pacific). This route offers several attractions in its path as the visit to the Falkland Islands, sailing around Cape Horn or see the beautiful scenery offered by the Chilean fjords.
Each year the shipping company introduced minor changes in the schedule for the 2011-2012 season there are variances from past seasons.
The route starts from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, covering the Brazilian coast down to Montevideo. Then comes the port of Buenos Aires, the port where a good number of passengers embarking. The journey continues south, sailing the Atlantic Ocean, visiting the Falkland Islands, Cape Horn, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas, Chilean Fjords and then get to Valparaiso where your journey will start there again identical to reverse Rio de Janeiro.
In all, five cruisers, three of Rio de Janeiro to Valparaiso and two reverse, being both cruises of 14 days. For Buenos Aires cruise, the itinerary has the option of loading / unloading at the port of that city.
