Los Roques in Venezuela is an archipelago located in the Caribbean Sea, 168 km north of La Guaira, the port of Caracas. For its beauty and ecological importance, was declared a national park in 1972.

What makes Los Roques a wonderful place is the vast expanse of calm waters, the presence of lagoons, islands and beaches of white sand (coral origin) and crystalline waters of incredible colors.
Whether you go for a day or longer in the season (November to April), do not miss the chance to eat a lobster in Los Roques.
As Los Roques is a national park, have imposed certain restrictions on buildings. There are no luxury hotels, but a variety of inns, from simple and unpretentious to magnificent, that take pride in their cuisine.
Almost all the inns are located in Gran Roque, where cruise boats to different islands, especially Francisquí, Madrisquí and Crasquí. It is also possible to stay in a sailboat or a yacht, traveling from one island to another.
